Jerry Hess Named to Sales Position for Western US Territory at American Mine Research

Mr. Jerry Hess has joined the staff at American Mine Research (AMR) in sales and technical support. He will be responsible for sales in the western territory in the US.
Mr. Hess’s career will serve him well at AMR. He began as a diesel mechanic in the highway trucking and heavy machinery industry. From there, he spent 10 years working in underground mining in mechanical and electrical maintenance. He has also worked as a continuous miner section mechanic and an outby mechanic/electrician, which included working on longwall mining systems. In addition, he worked at CONSOL Energy in Utah where he installed the AMR Mine Net Tracking System.
“Jerry’s background and experience is well-suited to AMR,” said Bob Saxton, general manager, AMR. “His regard for high-quality work along with his familiarity of the Mine Net Tracking Systems will prove invaluable as he supports us out west.”
“The opportunity to work with AMR and the Mine Net systems is something I have looked forward to,” said Hess. “Being a part of the team and the new knowledge I will gain is its own reward. AMR has been supportive from my first interaction with them and I hope to see a western division in the future and be a part of that becoming a reality.”
Jerry will be based in Central Utah and support AMR in Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico.
