CaseBank Technologies Promotes Stephen Downie to Executive Director of Sales and Marketing

CaseBank Technologies has appointed Stephen G. Downie as executive director, Sales and Marketing. In this new role, Downie will drive the continued and accelerated growth of the company, solidifying its market-leading position and developing go to market strategies to broaden its footprint in markets that include Technical Publications and Product Lifecycle Management.

Stephen Downie has numerous achievements in technology and technical publishing to his credit, including the development of the first, commercial Unix-based publishing system; SGML, HTML and XML commercial editors; and the first, automated PDF-to-XML conversion software. His unparalleled experience will be vital to broadening CaseBank’s product strategy and offerings, ensuring they seamlessly integrate into the Product Lifecycle Management market as well as with modern Technical Publications vendors and standards.

An innovative leader, Downie has successfully developed markets, channels and strategies for the sustained growth of several technology companies throughout his twenty-five year career in sales and marketing. Before joining CaseBank, he co-founded Exegenix Canada and Exegenix Research, in partnership with Tata Infotech Ltd. (now Tata Consultancy Services), and prior to that, he was also the president of MainSale Technologies and vice president of Sales for SoftQuad Inc.
