Albemarle Names Lorin Crenshaw Director of Investor Relations and Communications
Albemarle Corporation has promoted Lorin Crenshaw to director of Investor Relations and Communications. In his new role, Mr. Crenshaw is responsible for sharing Albemarle’s corporate strategy and business objectives with global stakeholders and the financial community.
Previously a buy-side investment professional, Mr. Crenshaw has more than 13 years of experience working with equity and debt investors and analysts. In 2009, Mr. Crenshaw joined Albemarle as assistant treasurer where he managed the company’s capital structure and developed effective financial risk management and subsidiary funding strategies. Prior to joining Albemarle, Mr. Crenshaw worked for Rohm & Haas Company as International Treasury manager and spent the previous 11 years on Wall Street.
A native of Mobile, Alabama, Mr. Crenshaw received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University.

Sandra Rodriguez, Albemarle’s former vice president of Investor Relations and Communications, is now leading the company’s Enterprise Risk Management program and will direct the company’s Internal Audit, Sarbanes-Oxley and insurance functions.
