Strata Worldwide Enters Oil and Gas Industry With Rig Guard Gas Monitoring

Strata Worldwide introduces Rig Guard, a solar-powered gas monitoring system that includes remote monitoring via satellite. Developed with Conspec Controls, this specialized device has the distinction of being Strata’s first product marketed specifically for the oil and gas industry.
Rig Guard is a portable, solar-powered, multi-point gas detection system with battery back-up. It is used at industrial locations such as mobile work sites, drill rigs and oil platforms to detect explosive gases and emit warning alerts.
It also includes an operator-mounted Programmable Logic Controller to automatically manage incoming and outgoing data. Data from each site can be transmitted via satellite to a remote central location for monitoring and logging by an operator or Strata representative.
Rig Guard is immediately available for global distribution, and will be installed, serviced and supported by Strata.
